Terms of service

StartArmenia is a marketplace that connects Armenian startup founders with vetted investors for paid advisory consultations. Investors deliver sessions; the platform handles payment, escrow, and dispute resolution.

StartArmenia does not facilitate the offer, sale, or solicitation of any security. Money flowing through the platform pays for services rendered — advisory consultations — and never for an investment. Investors give opinions and feedback; they do not commit capital through StartArmenia.

Founders authorize payment at booking. Funds are held by Stripe and released to the investor after the session is delivered and the founder rates it. StartArmenia retains a 20% platform fee on every completed session. Low-rated sessions and disputes follow the refund process described in the booking confirmation.

If an investor declines a request, the authorization is released in full. If the accept window passes without a response, the request expires automatically and the founder is not charged. If a session is rated 1 or 2 stars, the founder may request a refund; the dispute is reviewed by a StartArmenia admin.

Consultations are for informational purposes only and do not constitute investment advice. Investors' opinions are their own. Founders are solely responsible for decisions made about their company.
